Tired of wearing sandals but you're not really a sneakers kind of girl? Try oxfords. This classic shoe style is convenient and comfortable to wear. That's why it's not surprising that all the fashion designers are so much interested in oxfords. You can easily wear them with skinny jeans and summer dresses.

Meeghan's 3rd look

Meeghan's third look was one of my personal favorites! She paired a white corset with a shiny turquoise baby doll skirt and black strappy wedges and accessorized it with a mint green statement necklace.

Casual day out

My second look was light washed ripped denim high waisted shorts with a maroon babydoll tank tucked in accessorized with a leapord belt and strappy nude wedges. I also added hot pink lipstick and a side braid to finish the look.

Feeling like Cinderella

Meeghan felt just like cinderella in her second look with a baby blue maxi dress and nude hippy headband. Maxi dresses are great to wear on lazy summer days when you're not quite in the mood to show off your legs!

Summer never ends

Going along with the summer theme my look is a light denim washed jean jacket over a summer never ends graphic tank paired with white short shorts and strappy peach wedges. You can also pair it with vintage ray bans if your day gets extra sunny!

Pink it up!

Meeghan's first look is a body hugging hot pink dress with hot pink bow wedges.

Green is in!

I went shopping the other day at one of my favorite stores, H&M, and found some cute new summer pieces. One thing they all had in common? They all expressed one of my personal favorite summer colors, green! As all of you probably know neon is a huge summer hit so the neon studded clutch was not a hard buy at all. Another thing I saw while shopping is the embellishment on the cargo shorts and flannels and instantly fell in love.

They are perfect for any night out because it's the classic look. It's also extremely versatile so you can pair it with almost anything in any color.

2013 Met Gala

Every year the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Musuem of Arts, holds the fashion event of the season, and the party of the year. Each designer selected by Vogue's Fashion editor herself, Anna Wintour, gets paired with their celebrity of choice to show off their best design alongside the theme of the year, which this year, was punk.

Punk it up

Going along with this years punk theme for the 2013 Met Gala is a punk inspired look featuring a black and white leopard print crop top paired with a grundgy black leather jacket and combat boots.

I just can't get enough of the high waisted shorts and cropped top trend. Everywhere I go some one is sporting this cute look and it looks great on everyone. Shown below is a pair of light washed denim high waisted shorts with a baby blue cropped top, topped off with a pair of black combat boots.

Street chic

1st look: Cream high low dress with black strappy wedges and a mint green flower chocker.
2nd look: Maroon baby doll dress with brown cowboy ankle boots, and accessorized with a nude hippie headband, gold bangles and statement ring.

Black Swimsuit Looks

Black is Back!

Black typically isnt the color you would run to when looking for a swimsuit for summer but recently i've been seeing that black looks good on almost every skin tone. It also makes you look slimmer and shows off your curves more. If you're more on the lighter skin tone it helps you look a tad bit more tanner if your self tanner isn't doing the trick.

It's Prom Season

All you high school juniors and seniors are probably out there checking every dress in every store in the entire valley. Well here's a few tips to keep into consideration while looking for the right dress!
1. Make sure you always try on your dresses with heels! You don't want your dress to be too short on the day of when you finally put on your heels.
2. Always look for a specific two colors that you think look best on you. It helps narrow down the choices and makes it easier to look for in stores.
3. Don't stress out! When you're stressed, you end up finding negative things about every dress you look at. Keep a positive outlook and your options open and the dress will come to you.
4. HAVE FUN! The second best part of prom is looking for the right dress so let it become a fun memory not a stressful time.

A Night on the Town

Looking for a simple look for a night on the town? Maybe it's time to take a new turn to the little black dress and try a little white dress. My model Jessica took that look with this cute little white dress with cutouts in the back and added spectacular pink glitter Jeffrey Campbells to top it off.

COACHELLA!

The sunny, laidback music festival days of coachella are over for the year but before we put those days behind us I'm going to dedicate my next three posts with three different awesome hippie styles that are worn by the countless celebrities and everyday ongoers to Coachella. Every year celebs try to step it up a notch and show us what type of fashions they have been loving. In my personal taste I feel that coachella is a time to show your true inner fashion sense and some of my favorite pieces to wear are fringe tops, high waisted shorts, crop tops, and hippie and flower headbands. So take a look at a few of my outfit looks with my modeled by Meeghan and feel free to comment and tell me what you think :)
